Good news on the circumcision front.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20060218/ts_afp/healthuscircumcision

"The mother, 31, is a homemaker from Northbrook, Illinois. She says two doctors recommended the procedure for health reasons."
AAARGH, again with the health reason bullshit. Stupid cunt. >|

"CHICAGO (AFP) - A clash over of their son's circumcision has landed the parents of an eight-year-old Illinois boy in a US court where there is no apparent precedent.

A Cook County judge ordered the mother in the case not to have her son circumcised until the court can hear arguments from the child's father, who opposes the operation, and decide if it is in the boy's best interest."

"When the divorced parents appeared Friday in Cook County Circuit Court, Judge Jordan Kaplan got the two sides to agree that the child would not be circumcised 'until further order of (the) court.'

He also also ordered them not to discuss the case with their child."

I'm gonna remember this judge's name, if I ever pass through the Midwest again I'm taking him out to dinner, at the most posh upscale place possible!

I hope this goes far enough that it becomes the Roe v. Wade for males.
I also like the picture Yahoo chose to put on the sidebar. Gee, wonder which side they're for.
LOOK YOU STUPID BITCHES AND CHRISTIANS, DOES THAT LITTLE GUY *LOOK* HAPPY TO YOU? HELL NO HE DON'T! Reminds me of how animals going off to be neutered look.

Well, that's good news for once. Of course the female wants the son circumcised. She's an adult; she knows exactly what circumcision will do to her son. The exact same thing as circumcising a female will do to her. His mother knows exactly what she's doing, and the doctors who said to do it just want money.

I wonder if the father told his son stories of the kid who got his dick blown up by a voltage surge in the cauterizing needle. Turned out the "phymrossis" or whatever that the twins were experiencing resolved itself shortly in the other twin, making the accident even more senseless. (As if medical science understands jack shit about the male body.)

That and also they don't want the Jewish people down their throat over how bad of a practice it is.

It's sad on how misinformed they are when it comes to it.
I've noticed that recently since I began paying more attention to medical sciences...Almost everything we know about the male body has been the exact same diagram used since the 19th century. Nobody ever studies a man at length until something abnormal is happening in his body! Yet we can't seem to stop discovering new and empowering things about the female body! It's as if they've been persuaded to believe the differences between male and female are the differences between a generic 'workhorse' Duecey truck, and a complicatedly engineered performance vehicle! I've also noticed this with nutritionists, unless you're going for a scientifically reinforced male-centric body type (power lifter, olympiad, gymnast/theatre dancer) then the nutritionist just takes the womyn's figure, and rounds up 20 pounds to get what's 'recommended' for males. Yeah, let's just ignore that there's all kinds of chemical level differences in our bodies.
I am sure they'll probably make up some sort of lameass excuse like they did with Terri Schiavo: "Oh he's just sad because he really wants the operation and his MEAN OLD DAD WON'T LET HIM!!"

I hope that it does become a male version of Roe v. Wade, I really do and that it passes like it.

Thanks for the info on it. :D

What is it with the US and mass circumcision, or is it less wide spread than it appears? Sorry just reading though the various threads and like a lot of things it's a non-issue over this part of the planet(UK). It's not done except for religious/serious medical reasons (I suspect that the NHS decided it was pointless/non-economic, rather than anything moral stand TBH), though still legal....Oh yeah I though it was a jewish/islamic thing rather than a christian thing, like eating pork, etc.

Hmmm, decided to look up what the deal is here in the UK (google safeties very much on!), found this from the BMA (http://www.bma.org.uk/) about the subject (http://www.bma.org.uk/ap.nsf/Content/malecircumcision2003#Nontherapeuticcircumcision)

Basically don't do it unless you feel you have to, and then you should have a reason (and don't expect the NHS to pay for it unless it is for serious medical reasons (they don't go into detail...but it's not something I would really like to think about for long TBH...what kind of injury/disease would require it OURCH). As for the medical preventative side it seems they have come to the conclusion there's no conclusive evidence one way or another and needless surgery is generally a bad idea.

Do you know what cuts it down by 100%?
NOT FUCKING DISEASED SHITS THAT DESERVED TO BE PURGED IN THE FIRST PLACE.
If everyone with it died overnight, it would no longer exist past the few contaminated blood samples in lazy HMO bloodbanks.
Horny sonsofbitches really will be the death of us all. Ah, for the good old days when quarantine was an agreeable solution.
